Metro John Xavier, Co-Founder & Executive Chef, is a graduate in Catering and Chef Management from Kamaraj University, Madurai. With over 20 years of experience in the food industry across India, Singapore, and Sri Lanka, Metro has spent a decade working as a Chef and restaurant consultant in Canada. He is credited with creating and developing menus and overseeing kitchen operations at Shri Akshaya Paatra.

Sheethal Mahadevu, Co-Founder & Managing Director, holds a postgraduate degree in Hospitality Management, specializing in restaurant and hotel management from Conestoga College. With over 8 years of experience in the Canadian restaurant and hotel industry, she has worked as a restaurant manager in various establishments.

Together with her husband Metro, Sheethal founded and successfully runs Sri Nellaiappar, a small catering and take-out restaurant in Cambridge. Sheethal oversees restaurant operations and manages the finance department at Shri Akshaya Paatra.
